New Member Education (Pledging)

New Member Education, the orientation process to educate new members to become full fledged members of Delta Sigma Phi, recognized by our National Office. We have a 6-8 week process that is all encompassing of the Fraternity, Alumni, Operations, and Traditions associated with Delta Sigma Phi, Greek Life at Cleveland State University, and at the National Level.

New Member Education is broken down into a 6-8 week program that has an objective-based lesson plan each week to guide new members into initiation in the most productive manor. New Members will be challenged intellectually, where we seek men who are willing to go against the grain, challenge the status quo, and seek justice and understanding where others do not act.

New members will be expected of the following:

-Attend the Pinning ceremony to begin your journey

-Attend weekly New Member Edcuation meetings

-Attend Bricks and Brotherhood events once a week

-Plan a number of events in joint with the Chapter

-Attend Chapter meetings to observe how business in conducted

-Have an open mind and dont be afraid to speak your mind

-HAVE FUN.

For any questions or concerns contact the New Member Educator Zach Douglas at zdoug93@hotmail.com.

See below for the estimated time commitement to each expectation.
